I wish, but all I can think of is one of my daughters, her hubby and our precious grandson will be moving from Texas to Virginia on Sunday. Funny how history repeats itself. Chuck and I married on January 20, 1968. I had lived my whole almost 21 years of life with my parents. Chuck was in the Army at the time and stationed at Ft. Story in Virginia Beach, Virginia.
I wonder if my mom all of those 40 1/2 years ago felt as sad as I'm feeling right now. I might just call her and ask. Then I would probably start to cry and my poor mom doesn't need me crying long distance on her shoulder. Knowing my mom, she would just laugh. That's my mom.
So for now, I think I will stop before the tears take hold. I'm such a cry-baby! But, I wouldn't have it any other way, having such a deep love for each of my 5 kids and 4 grandchildren.

After a few tears, she always said, "I'll MISS them but I KNOW they're FINE so THAT makes ME FINE".
(Did I tell ya' my MOM was SMART & a SAINT?). WINK.
My BEST to you and yours, Kind Soul ....

God Bless,
Karen
