 My Life of Lovely Ladies!

My 81 year young Mom and my granddaughter.

All my girls several Christmases ago.

No matter how old they get, they will always be my babies.

 THE WEDDING !

The newly married couple. My daughter, Melody, and her hubby, Michael!

There I am, Mother-of-the-Bride, with my son Bill, whom I haven't seen in 4 1/2 years.

My other three beautiful daughters, April, Misti and Amy. And of course, my precious granddaughter, Jordyn.

The wedding on the 23rd was beautiful. Unfortunately that stomach bug that has been going around struck. I had it on the 21st, felt more than a little rocky on the 22nd and through the rehearsal and rehearsal dinner. Then my husband and his sister came down with it that night. The reason my husband isn't in any of the photos I took is because I was busy just keeping him upright at the church. Bless his heart, but he was bound and determined to walk number 4 daughter down the aisle, and he did. He stayed long enough to sit through the ceremony, take the photographer's photos and then our son brought him back to our daughter's home. He's feeling better.

His sister, Ann, didn't get to go at all, and she had spent hours baking the wedding and groom's cakes. I felt so sorry for her. We had to take photos of the cakes, because she didn't even get to see the bride's cake put together. She also is feeling better.

Others got sick, but I won't bore you with the negative details of it.

The positive is that everyone who attended the wedding got here safely and back home again. The newlyweds have been all giddy since their little wedding night get-a-way. They will be leaving on their honeymoon on the 30th from Galveston on a cruise to Mexico.

We will be leaving here in a couple of days for home. Our daughter and son-in-law from Georgia will follow us home and visit a little bit longer before they have to return home. So we will be having a second Christmas with our oldest daughter, her hubby and our two grandchildren, who had to leave yesterday for their home. We did get to have Christmas here with grandson, Charlie. It is his first Christmas and pretty special since he is named after my hubby.

Here are my three grandchildren and their moms. The boys, Charlie and Landon, were the ringbearer's and Jordyn one of the flower girls.

A Very Merry Christmas from myself and my entire family!

God Bless,
Karen

 Merry Christmas Streamers!

Yes, I still love saying "Merry Christmas" instead of the generic, "Happy Holidays."

I pray all of my Stream Family have a wonderful Christmas and Happy New Year! May God's Blessings be with you always.

Love, Karen

 God Has Always Blessed Me!

As I'm sitting here this morning, waiting for time to start my working day at school, I have thoughts of my past, present and my future. My Blessings from Our Heavenly Father:

1. He allowed me to be conceived
2. I was a wanted child
3. I had a Mom and a Dad from the beginning
4. I had two older, wonderful sisters
5. I was clothed , fed and always had a roof over my head
6. I have three ornery younger brothers
7. Although things weren't always perfect, My Father always strengthened me from my experiences, especially the negative life happenings.
8. I was born with good health and a good brain, well most of the time I like to think!
9. I have many friends
10. I met and married Chuck almost 39 years ago
11. I have one son and 4 daughters
12. I have three fantastic sons-in-law and another one on December 23rd.
13. I have one granddaughter and 2 grandsons
14. My mother is 81 years young and our relationship is better than it has ever been and just keeps getting better.
15. I have so much family scattered around the United States that it's sometimes too overwhelming, but in a great way!
16. I have had the same wonderful job for twenty years and a part time job for 12 years. (Yes, I didn't quit the video after all)
17. My youngest daughter just now called me, the one getting married on the 23rd, and she sounded great!
18.It's time to get busy and greet the kids, so off I go!
19. I love my Blogstream friends!
20. I'll be 60 on March 20th, and I most of the time feel like a Kindergartner! Now that is a truly remarkable blessing from God!

Have a wonderful Thursday and I will too!

Karen
