Welcome to the Stream

Let me think
As I give this a whirl.

My name is Karen
My blog is Texas and Beyond
I guess you could say
The Stream is a melting pond.

We come from all areas
We are all sizes and shapes
The Stream is so welcoming
It helps us to escape.

From the real world
We can state our purpose
Whether we reach down deep
Or merely scratch the surface.

There are young ones and old ones
And anywhere in between
There are shy ones and bold ones
There are plump and there are lean.

But one thing that is certain
Within the community of the Stream
We have found an online home
Sharing ourselves and our dreams.

Some of us are serious
Some of us joke around
But all of us realize
What a jewel we have found.

Great friendships have been created
Lifelong contacts that help us smile
The Stream has given us a chance
To link mile after mile.

Have fun and enjoy
Explore and comment too
That way others will come
To repay a visit to you.

HAVE A GREAT TUESDAY ALL MY FELLOW STREAMERS, MAY BLESSINGS ABOUND IN YOUR LIFE!

Okay, so I'm a real sucker for muscles, and wrestler John Cena, who stars in the movie, The Marine, sure does have them. He's also very good looking.

The best thing about working at a video store is that we get to see the new movies before they are released to rent, and I was very impressed with The Marine.

If you didn't see it in the theaters, I would recommend seeing it. It is action packed as Cena plays a young Marine who is discharged for disobeying orders. He goes home to his cute little wife, they run into some diamond thieves, who kidnap her and the rest is him chasing them,trying to get her back. If you do see it, please watch the special features. John Cena is a very interesting young man.

The movie, Flyboys, is another movie available to rent this Tuesday. This is definitely a must-see movie. It is quite amazing for those of you who have not seen it.

Flyboys is based on a true story that starts before the United States gets into World War I. Americans went to France to learn to fly and fight against the Germans. It has some amazing scenes with the planes.

Well, I wanted to post something, and those two movies were in my thoughts tonight.

Do you dream a lot? I do! Last night was something I had never dreamed before. I dreamed I was murdered and was a spirit. It was very frustrating because I could see everyone else, but they couldn't see me. Now that is a little disturbing to say the least. I finally found a way of letting them know I was among them. I breathed upon a mirror and wrote messages in the fog I left behind. My friends finally realized I was among them and I was trying to tell them what had happened to me.

Does anyone on the Stream know how to interpret dreams?

I want to write more, but
I am exhausted.

A deep tiredness is in my soul
A condition not easy to control
Daily living takes its toll
Too many thoughts rumble and roll.

Wanting to take time
to make some sense
Out of the chaos
that makes me so tense.

My mind is being pulled
this way and that
Too many questions
swept under the mat.

Time and money
money and time
Never enough
never sublime.

Scrambling about
from here to there
Yet never stopping
to take in fresh air.

Breathe Dear Girl
just stop and breathe
Quit going through life
with a twist and a weave.

Today I decided
it would be best
Taking one moment
then taking the next.

Not looking too far
into future days
Just concentrate
on Christian ways.
