Whenever one country decides to invade another country, or the same country has forgotten to take care of its own land and people, I wonder what Our Heavenly Father is thinking?

I know I have posted this before awhile back, but with Georgia and Russia on my mind, I thought it would be a good time to post it again.

When will you show some kind of concern?

The destruction of earth is not too far from real.

Teaching children is a challenge, but when will their parents be taught what is acceptable and what is not?

One of my daughters is a third grade teacher and they just had their open house in their classrooms for their new students and parents.

Unfortunately she had a father of one of her students using cuss words in front of the other parents and students during the open house.

My question is, what would have been the best way to handle the situation? I don't know how she did, probably just ignored it and hoped that he would leave as soon as possible.

My husband said if he had been there, he would have invited the man to step outside. After all, no one cussing in front of his daughter.

Would love to have some insight as to how any of you would have handled the father.

Me, I think I would have invited him into an empty corner of the room and politely explained that according to school rules, cussing was not allowed on the school premises.

Of course, he might have either cussed me out or poked me in the nose. That's what is a very real problem in our country, like road rage, you never know what might come your way.

Poor kids, and then their parents wonder why their kids get into trouble in school. DUH, as the kids say. I say take a good look into the mirror and you'll be looking at the reason.

As a sub, I have to go get fingerprinted and pay $42.25 for the privilege of doing it, or I won't be allowed to sub. Sad I have to pay for it after retiring from the school after 20 years full time as a Teacher Aide. The least the school could do is pay for it.

As promised to music lover, Six, Here is a picture of my 6 and 1/2 year old granddaughter's CD her PawPaw, my son-in-law's dad helped her make in his music room at his house. He used to be in a local Country Western band, while my son-in-law's love is heavy metal. They both have quite a collection of guitars and sound system in their respective homes.

Our granddaughter loves to belt out songs, singing to the music of Kelly Clarkson and Carrie Underwood.
