Grasping the tangible with meticulous ease Within a world full of violence, disrespect, disease, Longing for better, receiving far less A chasm between want and hopelessness.
Journeys through now, until the end Require bravery without energy to spend, Dark skies loom, rare is the light A reversal demands a relentless fight.
Reaching out for a world no more Toward light and heaven we will soar, An intangible world is not earthbound Only realms within Him peace shall be found.

A sense of dread has come to me Filling my head without humor or glee, Dark gray eyes are saddened so Without any warmth, without any glow.
Minutes are passing hurriedly through the days, With too much to do, no time for delay.
A sense of dread has come to me Filling my soul without goodness to see, Cold-numbed hearts are turning to stone Without any caring, always standing alone.
Days are passing hurriedly through the years With too much heartache, with too many tears.
A sense of dread has come to me Filling my being without harmony, Bigoted minds are spreading hate Without any thought, at an alarming rate.
Years are passing hurriedly toward the end of time. With no more mountains left to climb.
